I am delighted to present the new Strategic Direction (2023-30) of PNF, outlining our strategic Goals, Directions, and Objectives to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) encompassing SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Our plan reflects a thorough analysis of our past achievements and the invaluable lessons we've learned. It serves as the foundation from which we embark on this journey, prepared to meet the unique challenges that lie ahead. While our core vision and mission remain unwavering, we've redefined our strategic objectives to align more closely with the specific SDGs, empowering our organization to realize its full potential while addressing the changing needs of the communities we serve.

Our strategic directions are designed to elevate community resilience, enhance the quality of life, and empower individuals, organizations, and groups engaged with vulnerable communities. Through our initiatives, we aim to drive progress across the SDGs mentioned, fostering a more sustainable and equitable future.

To reach the most underserved areas, we've initiated structural changes, extending our services to previously unreached locations with specialized professionals dedicated to each of the identified SDGs. Resource mobilization is another pivotal focus as we craft a robust roadmap to acquire resources both domestically and internationally, fostering innovative collaborations with corporations and business houses. These partnerships are instrumental in driving positive change, and we actively promote SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals – to strengthen our impact.

This Strategic Direction is the collective result of the combined efforts of our stakeholders, and we express our sincere gratitude for your invaluable contributions throughout the extensive and inclusive consultation process.

"As we look ahead, we are dedicated to fostering deeper community engagement, particularly in light of the post-COVID situation. Our goal is to empower marginalized individuals within our communities, including children, women, and individuals with disabilities, providing them the means to lead lives filled with dignity. Collaborating with local communities and our valued partners, which encompass government institutions, NGO alliances, Community-Based Organizations, supporters, and like-minded individuals, PNF is committed to the creation of a fairer, more compassionate, and accountable society."

With sincere thanks and kind regards,

Prabhu Charan
